We are excited to begin a blog for you whether you are a veteran foster parent, someone still trying to decide if foster care or adoption is for you, a volunteer, or you support our mission financially! This blog will have posts for each and every one of you.
My name is Tim Hite. I have been the Associate Director of Divine Nest since 2021. My wife, Chantal, and I were married in 1998. We have 4 biological children Chesney, Karina, Phoebe, and Silas. In 2009 we were given the opportunity to become foster parents while working in a family-style group home in Oklahoma.
Through that experience we fostered 34 kids with the age ranges of 4 years old to 18 years old. In 2012 we have the privilege to adopt 3 of the girls that had lived with us. That same year we moved to Missouri to raise our family, and I began a job at Children's Division. During my time with Children's Division I was a licensing worker and became a supervisor in 2017. We also started fostering again in 2021 for the State of Missouri. I hope this blog will give you insight into the foster care and adoption world. My goal is you also will find encouragement, inspiration, and hope.
Our hope is that whether you are a veteran foster parent, someone still trying to decide if foster care or adoption is for you, a volunteer, or you support our mission financially, you will find our blog something you come back to time and time again!
